Let There Be Light!
Light is returning! I love the dark time of year yet welcome the longer days of light. To me Winter Solstice is a reminder of the Light of Love of the Cosmos and well as the light of the sun. The dark time takes me inside, and to my wonder I find Light, the Light of the Cosmos within. My internal Light expands out to touch the sun and the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. All One with the Cosmic Light of Love.
Two essences that resonate with this experience of personal Light expansion are Garnet Hollyhock and Grand Fir Tree. Both essences contribute to the high vibrational signature of the EnLighten Aromatherapy and Flower Essence Mister. Garnet Hollyhock Flower Essence
Hollyhocks are a well-loved garden ornamental plant with tall stalks and multiple trumpet shaped flowers. Hummingbirds are drawn to the brightly colored flowers. Our hollyhocks are bright red or deep burgundy-black “garnet” color.

Grand Fir Tree Essence
Grand fir trees grow in dry to moist slopes and river flats at low to middle elevations in the Cascade Range and Coast Ranges of the Pacific Northwest. One way to identify the grand fir tree is by the needles; they are usually spread horizontally exposing the upper and lower sides of the branches. Grand firs have small pollen cones and large seed cones that stay connected to the tree. Coastal indigenous peoples used the wood for fuel, bark for canoes and dyes, and branches for incense, headdresses and ceremonial costumes. Needles were boiled to make a tea for colds or internal injuries.
On the flower essence level, Grand Fir Tree Essence works in the energy circuits that relate to the pre-frontal cortex of the brain to support presence, focus and attention outside of time.
