How did you get started making flower essences? I’m often asked this question. Making essences is not something I dreamed of doing or even knew about until 1997, shortly after John and I met. When I left the spiritual community that I’d had been in for 12 years, a friend introduced me to flower essences. I started using essences from two different companies. Very soon I had the strong knowing that I was not learning about essences. Instead, I was remembering about them.
In 1999, John and I moved to Lummi Island, where he had the land we call Tree Frog Farm. Immediately, my Guides and the fairies here said we would be making flower essences. I went through a two-year training process. One day the fairies led me on a trek through the woods, dense bushes, wet bogs to a salmonberry bush. I looked up and saw that the other side of the bush faced the open garden area of the land. I could have easily walked up to the front of the bush!! I asked why they took me on the wild trek and they said, “Because we want to see if you can listen to us and follow directions.” “Now” they said, “you are ready to make flower and tree essences!”
This journey of 19 years has led to creating the Chakra Essence Blends. This summer I’m making the last essences that will complete the Heart and Throat Chakra Blends. To lay the foundation for taking them, I suggest using the Root, Sacral and Solar Plexus Blends first. Red-flowering Currant and Goat’s Beard are key essences in both blends. Rattlesnake Plantain Orchid Essences is fundamental the Root Chakra Blend. All of these will be on special through June. And the Solar Plexus Chakra Blend is still on special for 2 more weeks.
