There are days when I can’t make myself check my personal emails. I dread seeing more bad news about political, environmental, economic and social justice issues. My heart hurts. When I finally do look (by then about 400+ emails waiting) I find a lot of good news too. Progressive candidates are winning special elections. People are marching for women’s rights. Students are demonstrating for the right to a safe education. Washington state outlawed bump stock guns.
What has this got to do with your personal life? Everything! I’ve been rereading the book about the 13 indigenous grandmothers, Grandmothers Counsel the World by Carol Schaefer. The grandmothers say the Earth is a conscious, alive and responsive being. They feel the Earth’s suffering as if the pain were their own. I feel Earth’s pain and I know other people who do also. Do you? It is easy to react from this pain, but is more effective to pause, go internal and recognize the time to act from respect and hope.

2018 Practitioner Training Course
In addition to learning to make a custom dosage bottle of essences for your family and clients, students will participate in making a flower essence using two different methods during the July Class. Diana originally started using flower essences from companies in New Hampshire and Virginia. She learned from using them and only had a few paragraphs in a book to give her a beginning idea of how to make them. After much trial and error, she was able to transfer that info into making flower essences with plants that grow here. Diana now has 19 years of experience making essences and is happy to share that knowledge with her students.
