It’s not always easy to remember that each of us is sacred. For me, right now, it is challenging. I had a full complex hip replacement last December because the cancer ate through part of the hip bone. There wasn’t much bone left so it was a very delicate and intricate operation. Fast forward 7 months, the hip dislocated. Last week, I had redo surgery. The surgeon had to rebuild the hip again and this time added pins for more stability. It is much more secure. With the redo of the hip surgery and the continuing cancer treatment, I’m find myself mostly oriented to body survival. It takes constantly reorienting to Spirit to remember that I am sacred, spirit living in a physical body. And it is worth it! Life is so much more enjoyable!
