People said I was too old to start a new business at 50! I should be staying the course and looking toward retirement. But my Spirit Guides, the faeries and I all wanted to make flower essences. So, we did!
I would have started earlier but it took John and me 25 years to meet. We tracked each other through the Pacific NW then to Boulder, Colorado where we finally met. That was it! We have been together ever since. A couple of years later, we moved here to Lummi Island where John had land. The spring after moving here, my Spirit Guides, faeries and I started making essences.
How did we come up with the name Tree Frog Farm? Soon after John bought the land, he was digging a hole for the septic tank. The water table here is so high that tree frogs kept jumping into the new “pond.” He and his friends started calling the land Tree Frog Farm as a joke. The name stuck. What else could we call our flower essence business?
