I have a special connection to trees and tree spirits that started for me when I was very young. When my oldest daughter was 2, she told me very matter of fact that the names of the 2 giant Grand Fir Trees on our property were Elfor and Riesa. I was astounded! This year we decided to make the world a little more bright and cheerful and decorate the long trunks of Elfor and Riesa with lights. It does make everything more cheerful. This simple task has made our world feel more magical. This time of year is magical!
