Mercury Strikes Again!
Mercury is retrograde! Electronics and computers may go haywire. Communications can be strained or misunderstood. These are common mercury retrograde experiences. This time I’m learning about another aspect of mercury retrograde. It’s the time to go deep within, to re-evaluate, renovate, re-invent, and re-form. This retrograde started on October 21, without my even noticing. The day after, we came to the conclusion that we needed to completely reevaluate and upgrade our red shiso production procedures and equipment. A few days ago I realized we are in Mercury retrograde. Of course! This is another aspect of the overall streamlining and upgrading here at Tree Frog Farm. We are still in this process and it may take another month or more. I feel nervous and excited at the same time.
While we still have a low inventory of some blends in the red shiso base, our stock has decreased to the point where some blends are now only available in the brandy base. You’ll be able to tell what is available by looking at our website. If the page shows both red shiso and brandy options, you may purchase in either base. If the only option is brandy, then you can only purchase in the brandy base until we have completed this process.
For the month of November, all Flower Essence Process Blends (not including Organ Energy Meridian Blends) will be on special. Black Gooseberry Flower Essence is in many of the Process Blends and is an ally for this Mercury retrograde time. It is also on special this November.
Black Gooseberry Flower Essence
Black Gooseberry is a US Pacific NW native deciduous perennial shrub that grows to 4 feet tall and has numerous “fuzzy” golden prickles with larger thorns at the leaf nodes. It grows best in moist forest edges with partial shade. Small maroon saucer-like flowers grow in drooping clusters. The black, round berries are edible for humans and wildlife.
