Our weather is shifting into autumn, our car ferry is going into annual maintenance for 3 weeks and island kids are returning to school. Thankfully there will be a passenger only ferry so adults can get to work and kids in junior high and high school can get to school. Gratefully the young ones get to attend our wonderful grade school on Lummi Island.
