Announcing the new Organ Energy Meridian Blends! After 25 years of study and personal experience with the organ meridians, 10 years of correlating our essences with the meridians, and 2 years of working on these blends, they are finished and ready to be introduced. What a journey! In the last 4 years, I’ve teamed up with a wonderful friend of mine who teaches shiatsu and is an acupuncturist. We’ve taught some very dynamic classes and I’ve learned a lot from her. Blue Vervain Flower Essence
Blue Vervain grows wild in many part of the world. It has long been used to treat anxiety and nervous exhaustion, and to improve digestion. It relieves headaches.

Wood Element: Spring
Wood is representative of all of the elements. Trees are rooted in the Earth, yet are flexible and gracefully dance with the wind. (I love watching the 100 foot tall red alder trees at Tree Frog Farm sway in rhythm with the wind.) They take up water and collect the warmth of the sun, then give us fire wood to warm our homes. Trees connect Heaven and Earth and are a metaphor for the human body-mind-spirit connection. The wood element expresses the pushing upward of new growth as plants awaken into the rebirth of spring. Thus its color is green. In humans, the wood element helps us sprout ideas, grow plans, and bloom into action. If that process is thwarted, anger may burst forth or fester inside. Just as plants in a creek filter toxins out of the water, the wood element in humans also filters toxins out of our digestive systems.
Liver Organ Energy Meridian Essence Blend
The liver is one of the hardest working organs in the body. It secretes biochemicals, including bile, that support digestion and other metabolic processes. It stores glycogen to be released into the blood as glucose for quick energy. The liver synthesizes blood plasma proteins, decomposes spent red blood cells and breaks down toxins. It is necessary for life.
