Rebirthing Yourself in 2016
2012 was a banner year and I thought our long-term business pregnancy would birth in 2013. Instead we had 2 years of being in the last stages of labor and 1 more year of being in the birth canal. The abrupt shift from “yeah it is time to birth” to “wait, not ready yet,” was somewhat traumatic for me. I went through much fear, uncertainty and reduced confidence about the birthing process. Finally, in 2016 we are birthing! Our first “baby” is the flower essence practitioner training course being offered this year. Adding individual 1/2 ounce Organ Energy Meridian Blends is our second “baby.” And there are more to come. Other people have told me they have had similar experiences the last few years. I find it interesting that in the Western cultures we celebrate New Year during winter. It is a deep quiet time, good for reflection. California Poppy Flower Essence
California poppy, a self-seeding annual, is native to western North America and prefers sandy, open, sunny sites. It is a pioneer species that is sometimes found in vacant lots, roadsides, and in unexpected places in the garden. A tincture or tea infusion of the aerial parts helps to relieve insomnia, anxiety, spasmodic coughing and pain from acute injury or toothache. Water Element: Winter
Water is the primal mother of organic life. It is wet, fluid, takes the shape of its container, and conducts electricity. Humans are about 80% water. We need to stay hydrated so our blood, lymph, digestive, excretion and nervous systems can function properly. In Chinese Five Element Theory, water element rules the lymph and immune systems, bones, central nervous system including brain, and the adrenal glands. An imbalanced water system contributes to lack of flow in thoughts and feelings. It is associated with the subconscious mind and the emotion of fear. The season of the water element is winter and the colors are blue/black.
Kidney Organ Energy Meridian Blend
