Fear is the most primal of feelings; it is helpful when there is a real danger, but it is easy to get caught up in fear by speculating or anticipating what might happen. Some of this is based on past experiences that get projected onto new situations. I’m preparing to start a new treatment for the cancer. A current fear of mine is that it will be as ineffective as a similar previous treatment. However, this new treatment includes cutting edge immunology specifically for this kind of cancer. I can let old fear cripple me or I can start the treatment with confidence.
It is winter here at Tree Frog Farm. We’ve had below freezing temperatures with snow and ice for almost a week now.
