When I came across a beautiful hardbound book, A Natural History of Fairies, I knew I wanted to get it for Diana for her birthday. I was excited to give her this book, but a bit nervous that she may already own it. When she opened it she was immediately in love with it. This filled me with such joy! She knew the subject of fairies quite extensively. She had been working closely with them for more than 2 decades, so her seal of approval was a golden one.
While looking through it not long ago, we discovered that one of the fairies was the Swallowtail Fairy. In my mid-December newsletter, the Western Tiger Swallowtail made an appearance during the making of both the Mock Orange, and White Yarrow essences last year. This particular winged nature-being has made an appearance during the making of Yellow Day Lily Essence as well. This leads me to believe the Swallowtail is one of our resident species of Tree Frog Farm fairies. It is important to know that even if we are feeling like we won’t ever recover from the loss of a loved one, we will eventually be on the other side of it to some degree.
